Today we will be doing our beginning of the year testing for oral reading fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and math. Most of these tests will be completed in the computer lab.
Tuesday - Thursday we will be working on animal classification in science, and in math we will begin our study of exponents. We will also continue to review our first standard which is understanding that the digit to the left is ten times more and the digit to the right is 1/10 of the place to the left. This is true for whole numbers and decimals. We will also begin our math fact fluency timed tests.
Have a happy week! Hakhuna Matata!
