In order for your student to succeed, there must be a quality learning environment. A quality learning environment involves a minimum of disruptions and distractions that would keep them from learning to the best of their ability. Our fifth grade team has created the following class discipline plan. We, students and teachers alike, have agreed that these are fair rules and that your student can and will abide by this plan.

BASIC STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES - Keep track of your own books and assignments - Start your work on time and allow time to finish - Ask for help when you need it - Do your own work - Turn your work in on time - Accept responsibility for grades and other consequences - Follow guidelines of Blythe-Bower and Cleveland City Schools
POSITIVE CONSEQUENCES: 1. Class Dojo points 2. Fun Friday!!! 3. Treats 4. Positive notes to parents 5. Extra-curricular activities (1 per semester)
NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES: 1. Warning 2. Loss of Class Dojo points 2. Write up/Loss of Free Time 3. Notes in Agenda for Parent Signature 4. Loss of "Fun Friday" 5. Student/Team/Parent Conference 6. Discipline Referral to Office
